LGBTQIA+ Issues before the Legislature

  • First Presbyterian Church 840 South 17th Street Lincoln, NE, 68508 United States (map)

3rd Sundays @5

The Program:

First Presbyterian Hosts a dinner and program every 3rd Sunday at 5 pm. The program varies each month.

This month Abbi Swatsworth, Executive Director of OutNebraska, will share with us what's happening in the State Legistlature related to issues affecting LGBTQIA+ rights, and how we as individuals and as a church can respond.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are a member of First Presbyterian or not. If you care about LGBTQIA+ issues, this is a chance to learn more about what’s happening.

Dinner:

Dinner is catered this month from Panera Bread. There is no charge for dinner. (Donations are always appreciated to help offset the cost.) While not required, if you plan on coming, it would be helpful if you would email Sue Coller (scoller@fpclincoln.org) and let her know, so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone. The email can be as simple as “2 for dinner for May 18”.

Find your Way:

Park in our 18th Street parking lot (entrance between F & G Streets, on the East side of the building), come in main entrance off of the parking lot. If that lot is full, there is additional parking in our F Street parking lot, just across the street from the 18th St. lot (entrance off of F St.).

We are in the middle of a remodeling project, so follow the signs to Fellowship Hall.
